Landon's 4th Birthday

Landon,

My goodness! The past 4 years have just flown by. You have grown from this sweet and shy little baby into a wild, tractor loving little boy. It's so hard to believe that you are already 4, and that you will be in kindergarten next year! In the last year you have grown so much. You became 100% potty trained (mainly night time is what was the hang up) right after your 3rd birthday, you are sleeping in a big-boy bed now, and you are the sweetest little helper/big brother I could ask for! You are becoming sooo very smart in school, knowing and recognizing all of your ABC, 123's (all the way to 50!), and you can even write you name. Funny story - there are two Landon's in your class, so when you write your name you have to put N. after it. It's so funny to hear your say it as you write it...L, A, N, D, O, N, N, dot. Maybe this fall you will learn how to spell your last name :)

In true birthday fashion, we celebrated all week. You woke up on July 4th to balloons everywhere!

Since Daddy was off work on your birthday, we went swimming on the 4th and we also got a sitter for Corinne so that you could see the fireworks that night.

Then the next day you took cupcakes for your friends at day school. You were attending a summer program 2 days a week. You loved it when everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to you!

And last, but certainly not least, we celebrated with your little friends at our local Firestation for your official birthday party. This was an awesome party! It was soooo hot outside, but you (and all of your friends) really seemed to enjoy yourself!

I hope that you enjoyed your 4th birthday, sweet Landon. Daddy, Corinne and I sure did enjoy celebrating it with you. You are growing so big and so smart!! I hope this next year is the best yet. We love you, to the moon and back!! :)
