I put our bread, milk, and eggs to good use by making from French Toast for breakfast, and we quickly ran to our rooms to start putting on layer after layer of clothes. I grabbed my camera and out the door we went! Landon, of course, had to get 2 tractors to play with in the snow! He was grinning ear to ear the entire way down the driveway. Someone had already been out driving in the snow this morning, so we walked in those tracks to try and keep from falling. The snow came up to Landon's knees, and bless him he's not the most graceful little guy, so just from walking to the end of the street and back he was covered! And I was too, thanks to the boys ganging up on me with snowballs :-/
We tried our darndest to make a snowman, but the snow is so fluffy that we only managed to get the bottom 2 balls rolled before we needed to head in and warm up. After some hot cocoa with tiny marshmallows, caramel cake, and sitting in front of the space heater (yeah, we need a fireplace bad!), we finally thawed out...and it didn't take much convencing for Landon to want to go back outside to finish our snowman and make snow angels with me! :) We have had a fabulous day in the snow, and from the looks of it, we will get to make a repeat of it tomorrow!
