First Friday's Fun!!

Our small town of Florence has this great tradition every first Friday of the month. Local vendors set up shop along the streets of downtown as the town folk flock to browse, shop, eat, and mingle! You are always sure to see someone you know! The first Friday in April Josh, Landon, & I were walking around and bumped into our friends Ashley, Will, and their son Hudson. We got to talking and decided to get a table at one of the restaurants within walking distance and enjoy dinner together. Well, we carried that dinner date over into May as well! Who knows - maybe this will become a tradition!

So, this past First Friday in May we all met downtown, with the addition of 2 new friends, Jim (who was celebrating a birthday) & Pamela (who is expecting a Jim Jr.), at Rosie's Mexican Cantina for our own little Friday Fiesta! Luckily this time we were able to get a table on the patio and the weather was nothing short of perfect! Being able to sit on the patio meant two things: 1 - that Landon would be better because he would have more to look at, and 2 - we would be able to enjoy the weather, the crowd, and make better pictures! :)

Anyone knows that you can't go to a good Mexican restaurant without enjoying a good Margarita! =D Rosie's has this yummy drink called the Mambo Taxi, which is a Margarita mixed with Sangria...and it was delicious! Just as I said before you are always sure to see someone you know at First Friday's. I felt fortunate to be able to get a picture of my friend Robin, her husband Jared, and their sweet baby girl Reese as they experienced their very first First Friday's! And Reese was so good at dinner, too! They also enjoyed Rosie's that night. As our night was coming to an end, our waiter brought out Sopapilla’s for Jim, the birthday boy! We all sang to him, and finished up with some pictures. It was getting late, close to 9:00...which in our world is waayyy past bedtime :) Landon was getting irritable so we headed home. It was a fun night!
