In the days leading up to Landon's birthday, my sweet niece, Elyssa, was in town from Louisiana. She came to spend a few nights with us and since she was not going to be able to stay for Landon's actual birthday party, she insisted that we have a "pre-birthday" birthday party. I actually thought this would be a good way to explain how everything works to Landon - the singing, blowing out of the candles, opening presents, etc. Well, he loved it!! And was an absolute pro at opening his gifts solo. It's amazing to see how much he has matured since Christmas. Just 6 short months ago we were having the partially open them for him...you know, rip the corner to give him a head start, but that's no longer necessary!! He tears into the gifts like a mad man! haha! Here are a few pictures from our "Pre-Birthday" Birthday Party.
